RUNEX 123 is a unique scientific running project: A team of about 50 persons including 15 runners, 35 supporters and a team of scientists will participate at the Badwater Ultramarathon (216 km).

For the second time scientific research will take place during the 60 hours race.

The name RUNEX 123 stands for the extreme heat experienced during the Badwater Ultramarathon race (123 °F equals 53 °C).
